Kabul (BNA) Deputy Minister of finance, administrative and tourism Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi in a ceremony held yesterday to remember the 3rd Hoot uprising said there was complete unity among all religions and nations.
Delivering a speech on the occasion, deputy minister of finance, administrative and tourism said the first peace movement against injustice and invasion was launched by the people of Kabul Chendawol as the people of Kabul were proud of their struggle. Meanwhile, head of Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim Foundation Sayed Abdullah Hashimi spoke and said that the 3rd Hoot uprising started 57 days after direct invasion of Soviet troops, adding that the protest was first peaceful and later changed to violence as a result of which nearly 2,000 people were killed and injured.
