Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in meeting with the students of Kabul dormitories here in Arg the other day, besides congratulating Eid-Al-Adha, described them as the leaders of today and tomorrow of the country and urged them to boost the spirit of cooperation and brotherhood.
Hoping for continuation of meeting with students and changing it into a tradition, the president said that the war has been imposed on Afghanistan and therefor government had focused on boosting security forces this year. Due to the imposed war, the government couldn’t pay attention to improve higher education system this year, the president said. However, he promised that the government would focus to improve higher education system in the coming months. The president also instructed the officials with the higher education ministry to provide more facilities to students living in dormitories. According to another report, the president also received the officials of orphanages and orphaned children living there and congratulated Eid-Al-Adha to them.
