Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Alam Izedyar first secretary of the Senate chaired the yesterday’s meeting.
BNA correspondent reported, the senators evaluated the law on criminal code which has been referred to the general session after its assessment by the legislative and judicial commission and other Senate commissions.
The senate after debating the law adopted some amendments to the law up to article 30.
The senate also heard the report of the Senate delegation’s visit to the Farah and Herat provinces led by Mohammad Alam Izedyar first secretary of the Senate.
The report of the delegation said that the delegation meetings with the governor of Farah, heads of departments and elders of the province who expressed satisfaction over the performances of the local departments adding that they are carrying their activities in good manners and that security situation there as a result of efforts of domestic and foreign forces has been improved.
