Kabul (BNA) Sixty-six Taliban insurgents were killed in clashes with security and defense forces in Paktika last night.
Fawad Aman; the Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of National Defense told BNA reporter,66 Taliban insurgents were killed in Matti Khan, Yahya Khel and Soroubi regions of Paktika and 36 others were wounded in clashes between security and defense forces in the Sara Qala area of Sharan city, Paktika.
During the clashes, 1 vehicle, 1 machine gun, 2 rounds of heavy weapons and 5 rounds of Kalashnikovs were seized by the security and defense forces.
