About 7,500 Children with VSD in the West Expect Treatment

Herat (BNA) Approximately 260 children with Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) in the western province of Afghanistan have been treated, BNA reported yesterday.
Provincial director of Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) Nooruddin Ahmadi told BNA, of the 7500 children with VSD disease in the western region of the country, 260 of them have been treated so far.
There are still 7500 children with VSD disease in the western parts of the country which are treated in turn, Ahmadi added.
He further said, if a child with VSD has a sever health condition and threatens her death, regardless of the times it is being treated.
