Govt. To Improve Security On Priority Basis: General Dostum

Kabul (BNA) The first vice president General Abdul Rashid Dostum in meeting with General Campbell the commander of NTO-led forces here yesterday said that the government would continue to work for improving security on priority basis, BNA reported.
During the meeting, the vice president besides stressing for joint war on terror, lauded the cooperation of the international troops especially the US forces in the war on terror and said their cooperation would bolster the morale and the capability of Afghanistan national security forces.
The government of Afghanistan believes that war alone is not the solution and therefor needs the support of international community to ensure peace and stability in the country. In his remarks General Campbell praised the first vice president for his courage in the war on terror and added that international community’s forces would continue to support Afghanistan. The General said that the stance of NATO-led ISAF won’t be changed and the alliance would remain cooperative with the Afghan national security forces. 
General Campbell said he would remain as commander of 13,000 US and NATO forces in Afghanistan to help Afghan forces in giving training and advising in the war on terror.
