Jalalabad (BNA) One thousand seven hundred deserved families in Nangarhar received cash assistance.
These families have mostly lost their jobs due to the spread of the corona virus.
Najibullah Qayumi, Nangarhar's director of refugee and returnee affairs, who was in charge of distributing the aid, said that during this period, aid agencies provided cash to 1,705 families.
He said that he had paid more than twenty-one thousand five hundred afghans cash to each family.
These families live in poor economic conditions in Kot, Betikot and Rudat districts.
