Kabul (BNA) First-Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Marshal Mohammad Qaseem Fahim called insuring security the most important factor behind holding a transparent election in the country.
During his meeting with the northern Kunduz province elders, the Vice-President asked the people to cooperate the security organs in holding fair and transparent presidential and provincial elections.
The elders also asked the Vice-President to instruct the organs concerned to restore security in Kunduz province, where the insurgency had fatigued the residents recently.
The Vice-President assured them of full attention from the organs concerned regarding the security in the province.
