KABUL (BNA): Around 400 people who were stranded due to flash floods on the Herat-Islam Qala highway have been rescued by the security forces of Al-Farooq Army Corps.
According to a statement from Defense Ministry, the rescue operation was carried out by Al-Farooq Army Corps and the flood survivors were transferred to secure locations.
The Ministry of National Defense continues to state, with the ongoing rainfall in the country, its teams are prepared for emergency operations to rescue those affected by natural disasters.
