President Ghani Offers Condolence To Logar Incident’s Martyrs Families

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a meeting yesterday with families of those martyred in recent Logar incident expressed deep condolence and sympathy.
In the meeting held at presidential palace, governor of Logar Halim Fedayee spoke related to addressing the victim family’s needs and said based on instruction of the country’s President in connection with burying martyrs timely treatment of those injured in the incident and investigating the victim families, urgent measures had been adopted.
Afterwards head of Logar ulama council Mawlavi Mohammad Sardar Zadran spoke and praised the country’s President for expressing condolence and telephonic contact soon after the incident happened, saying that telephonic contact and your attention to the victim families reduced their pain and sorrow. Representing the victim families, Wakil Khan spoke and said a number of those injured in the incident needed further and serious treatment and should be dispatched to outside of the country.
In the meeting, the country’s President by offering deep condolence and sympathy to the victim families of Logar incident and praying to the soul of those martyred said, “You are my body and this sorrow is the sorrow of all of us and will not be forgotten.” “After receiving information related to the incident, I’ve instructed relevant officials and organs and governor of Logar to take urgent steps towards burying those martyred in the incident, treatment of the injured and investigating the victim families,” President Ghani asserted, adding that their priority was to maintain peace in the country and they would reach it by blessing of Almighty Allah and they would never witness killing and injuring of our countrymen anymore. He considered unity and solidarity of all the people of Afghanistan as key towards maintaining peace and stability in the country and promised that those injured whose treatment was impossible inside of the country would be dispatched to outside for further treatment.
