Marshal Fahim Meets Takhar Ulema, Elders

Kabul (BNA) Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim, the first vice president in a separate meeting on Wednesday with ulema and elders of Takhar province intended that role of ulema is important for instruction of the public’s minds. 
He said in addition the country’s ulema are religious key figures; they are needed to work for improvement of society’s culture. 
In the meeting, one of the ulema representing the others numerated the problems of people in Takhar province. 
The first vice president instructed the relevant organs for solution of the problems. 
Meanwhile, Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim, the first vice president met with a number of elders and influential figures for Baghlan province the other day. 
In the meeting, they discussed the relevant issues and the current situation of the country. 
During the meeting, the first vice president pointed out to the security situation of Baghlan province and said role of ulema, elders and influential figures is important in this regard. 
The first vice president asserted the people are the founders of regimes and governments and the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with cooperation of its people is making it.
