Kabul (BNA) The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, met the Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Qaher Rasulzada, at his residence in Bustan Sarai of Dushanbe yesterday evening.
According to the Presidential Press Office to BNA, during the meeting, both sides discussed the expansion of relations between the two countries in the fields of security, economy, trade, transit and culture, and strengthen the common vision of Afghanistan and Tajikistan and emphasized the expansion of regional cooperation.
According to another report, the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, met with the Speaker of Parliament, Mohammad Taher Zakerzada, at his residence in Bustan Sarai in Dushanbe yesterday evening.
During the meeting, both sides discussed on expansion of relations between Afghanistan and Tajikistan in various fields, especially the strengthening parliamentary relations.
Also, the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, met yesterday evening on the sidelines of the 9th Conference of Foreign Ministers of the Heart of Asia – Istanbul Process, convened on Monday, with Foreign Minister of India.
Both sides discussed regional cooperation in the Afghan peace process.
