Kabul (BNA) As many as 38 armed oppositions were killed during joint military operations led by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of national defense press office stated BNA, the military operations have been launched by Afghan national army troops to annihilate anti-government militias, ensure peace and stability and protect the lives and properties of people in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Khost, Ghazni, Maidan/Wardak, Zabul, Herat, Sar-e-Pul, Baghlan, Balkh, Jawzjan and Helmand provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and military equipment have been discovered and seized during the military operations, the statement added.
