Kabul (BNA) The cabinet committee on laws with second vice president Sarwar Danesh on the chair held meeting yesterday and discussed the drafted law on the employees of civilian services.
In his remarks at the meeting, the vice president said that the public administration has two significant elements of man power and financial resources as instrument for public services and the government has enough experiences about the first element.
Since the induction of new government the law on the employees of civilian services has been modified more than once but has yet to be finalized.
Speaking at the meeting an official of the commission for administrative reforms and civil services said that lack of consultative mechanism, lack of job security, professionalism and ensuring transparency and promotion system are among those problems which need clarification and inclusion in the law. The vice president also instructed that the commission of experts has to review the law once again and report back in the next meeting.
