Kabul (BNA) Eklil Hakimi, Minister of Finance participated in Wolesi Jirga’s general session here yesterday, a statement from the ministry said.
In the session, which was also attended by Abdul Satar Murad, Minister of Economy, Dr. Abdul Basir Anwar, Minister of Justice and representatives of State Ministry for Parliamentary Affairs and National Procurement Authority, Minister Hakimi briefed MPs on development budget expenditure for year 2017, the procurement process and effectively usage of Development Projects, the new mechanism for raising the graph of budget expenditure which according to it, working closely with budgetary units to clarify lack of budget use, starting the budget committee ongoing meetings to addressing the problems and offering the solution, the statement concluded.
