Monday January 4, 2016

Kabul (BNA) President’s Special Representative on Reforms and Good Governance, Ahmad Zia Massoud warned to destroy the illegally built Kabul high-rise buildings, according to the Bakhtar News Agency.
The special representative instructed the Kabul mayor to destroy all those illegally built skyscrapers in cooperation with the security organs, the agency reported. “No powerful individuals can resort to construction of the high-rise building in the residential areas, where the move would harm the residents’ minds,” said the agency quoting Massoud.
The owners of the recently built townships provided the special representative with details about the facilities they implemented in their residential areas and assured his office of what was needed to do for the township. The Kabul Municipality was asked by the president’s special representative to use all means possible for creation of refineries inside the townships to help remove pollution in the residential areas.
No collusion would be accepted in this field. Mentally soundness of the citizens was among our priorities and no powerful individuals could resist against the law, Massoud was quoted by the agency as saying.
