Kabul (BNA) Shekib Mustaghni the spokesman of foreign ministry said that cooperation with Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) will be discussed at NATO summit in Wales.
Addressing a press conference the other day, he noted that the modalities of continuation of cooperation with ANSF will be discussed at the two-day NATO summit opened in Wales on Thursday.
The government of Afghanistan expects that the international community to act upon its commitment and reach agreement on the modalities of support to ANSF.
He also added that the minister of national defense General Bismillah Mohammadi would represent Afghanistan at the summit. At the summit, Afghanistan would propose the increase of $4.1 billion for supporting ANSF to $5.5 billion annually, Mustaghni said, adding deputy finance minister is in London to talks with the concerned bodies.
Since the election commission has failed to announce the election results and the new president, the defense ministry is going to attend the summit.
