Kabul (BNA) With a cost of more than 10,000,000 Afs 11 sub-projects of the National Solidarity Programme of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) were recently completed in Baghlan province.
The NSP provincial manager of Baghlan province said that the stated projects included construction of retaining walls, Micro Hydro Power stations, irrigation canals and safe water reservoirs.
The projects have been completed in the districts of Khost and Khwaja Hijran Jalga and in a number of areas related to Pul-e-Khumri, Baghlan province and 1,844 families have benefited from them. Since its inception, NSP has expended 327,099,555Afs for implementation of 2,773 development projects in various sectors such as transport, water supply, electricity, irrigation, education and livelihood. Thousands of residents of Baghlan province benefited from these projects so far.
