Kabul (BNA) Prayer ceremony of Afghan journalist, Sayeed Mawladad Yaqoobi was held on Thursday in Herat city mosque.
In the ceremony held with participation of acting governor of Herat, Sayeed Fazlullah Wahidi, hundreds of residents of Herat, journalists and cultural figures, the participants prayed to soul of Sayeed Mawladad Yaqoobi. Meanwhile, Acting Minister of Information and Culture Dr. Sayeed Makhdoom Raheen in a message offered sympathy and condolence to the deceased families and remained. Dr. Raheen said in the message, “I and officials of the Ministry were deeply saddened over death of the young, committed and hardworking journalist. On behalf of MOIC, I’m offering my deep sympathy and condolence on the occasion of this loss to the deceased family and members of the country’s media, wishing paradise to the deceased and patience to the remained.”
