Khost (BNA) One person was martyred and at least 17 others were injured in an explosion in Khost.
The killed person was a greengrocer on the road.
The blast happened last evening around Iftar in one of the city’s bazaars just as people were shopping.
According to report, a bomb was placed in a motorcycle and exploded in a crowd of civilians.
Khost police Chief Gen. Mohammad Daud told BNA that one civilian was martyred and 17 others were injured in the blast.
Among the wounded are only one police officer and the other sixteen are all locals and civilians.
Doctors at Khost Central Hospital reported the health of at least four injured people critical.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast.
