Takhar University Problems To Be Addressed, Ezedyar

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Alam Ezedyar, Senate’s first deputy chairman met yesterday with Takhar University’s rector and deputy in students’ affairs.
In the meeting, Takhar University’s rector, Mahbobullah Hamid in his speech said the university had currently seven faculties and nearly 5000 male and female students were engaged in learning in various fields such as engineering, literature, agriculture, economy, political science, Sharia and education sections and nearly 731 students graduated from various faculties of the university during the current year.
He enumerated a range of problems in the university, saying that girls’ dormitory and three faculties of the university had no buildings. Officials of the university asked Senate for its cooperation and consideration to setting up a medical faculty in the framework of the university. Afterwards, Senate’s first deputy chairman promised to share demands of the university’s officials with relevant officials and the problems would be addressed.
