Kabul (BNA) Marshal Mohammad Qaseem Fahim First-Vice President of Afghanistan sending a message addressing Hujutul Islam Dr. Hassan Ruhani congratulated his election as President of Iran.
“I am conveying my sincerest felicitations on your election as president of Iran to you and through you to the esteemed leader of Iran and brotherly nation of Iran” the message notes”.
It is evident that massive participation of the people at the elections and the outstanding election of Iranian nation, gives the hope that a new chapter will be opened in the history of Iran and you can with the help of Allah and your wisdom overcome the prevailing problem in your country.
I hope, during your term of office relations between the friendly people of Iran and Afghanistan further consolidate and the cooperation of friendly Iran upgraded further.
I know that both our countries have an outstanding role in consolidation of peace and stability in the region and the world.
I hope that both our countries to find better ways for cooperation and to take big steps towards more progress and prosperity in their respective countries.
