3rd Hoot Uprising Reminds A Historic Event

Kabul (BNA) 3rd Hoot uprising coincides a historic revolution against the   invasion of the Soviet Red Army in Afghanistan.
The 3rd Hoot 1358 uprising is considered as in important historic event in the history of Afghanistan.
The revolution happened just two months later after the 6 Jaddi revolution initiated against the Russian occupation forces.
On these days, the people of Afghanistan represented their national unification and solidarity to the world and proved no crusader and invader could suppress this nation by force and through invasion.
Initially, the Shia community in outskirts of capital Kabul and Tapa Salam gathered in the squares around the city and without considering the security threats and shelling of the Russian army and their slaves chanted slogans against the occupations forces.
This was revealing the fact that the people of Afghanistan strongly oppose the invasion of their country by the red army and were demanding the withdraw of the invaders from their country.
When the invaders felt dangers from the outcomes of the uprising, they brutally suppressed the people by firing on the revolutionists and the protestors which finally led to killing of many innocent civilians who are demanding the freedom of their country and withdraw of the occupation forces.
Afghanistan as landlocked country has always struggled to maintain and forge close relations with it northern neighbors particularly the Russian Federation.
Following emergence of Pakistan as an independent country in South Asia, Pakistan became the focal point of western countries.
But the Soviet Union started backing Afghanistan in Military, economic and commercial spheres.
The Russian in that epoch of time succeeded to get advantage from the opportunities and in some extent succeeded to institutionalize its ideology among some political parties.
Russians wanted to use for their political ambitions in the future.
The 3rd Hood revolution unveils the fact the Afghan nation never endorses the imperialistic approach or invasion and will use all potentials to ensure its territorial integrity, national sovereignty and independence.
When Afghanistan strived to reduce reliance on foreign countries, the Russian formulated a plan and asked its internal slaves to conduct a military takeover which finally led to the collapse of regime of President Sardar Mohammad Dawoud Khan and it paved the way to the Russian in invade Afghanistan on 27th December 1979.
The Russian sent nearly 120,000 troops equipped with latest arms and ammunitions and the suppression and invasion followed harsh reaction inside the country and among the world community.
It’s important to mention that the occupation of Afghanistan also posed massive destructions to the Soviet Union financially and in terms of human casualties.
Because, the Russian analysis of the invasion of the land braves and great Afghan nation was proved wrong and the Soviet Union had been struck in a major stalemate and deadlock.
So the Soviet Union was seeking a way out to leave the country and cure its pains which it had received from the occupation.
The invasion strongly damaged Russian reputation in international sphere and the international community strongly denounced the Russian.
After ten years of war and occupation, the Russian leaderships realized that it was really hard to suppress the Afghan nation by the use of force.
The Russians tolerated twenty thousand human casualties and it spending three hundred million dollars on the annual basis in the war.
The Russian occupation of Afghanistan massively devastated Afghanistan’s political, economic and infrastructural development.
The basic foundations of the country were totally damaged and millions of Afghan nationals resorted migrations in the neighboring countries.
Today 34 years have been passed since 1979 occupation and Afghanistan so far has witnessed major ups and downs.
The Soviet Union occupation forces finally withdraw its troops from Afghanistan on 15th February 1989 with repentance and Shame.
