Many culverts, Bridges, Roads Reconstruct‌ed in Helmand

KABUL (BNA) Many culverts, bridges, and roads are reconstructed during last months in Helmand province.

The public facilities were demolished during the war and were a big problem for public and business transportations.

During the last months, the reconstruction work 3 bridges, 116 culverts, and several roads have launched said Helmand public work officials.

The facilities were located in Lashkargah which connects many districts of Helmand to Kandahar province.

The latest facility was reconstructed by the public work office of Helmand, was the Mahajer Bazar Bridge, this bridge was demolished in the war.

En. Nisar Ahamd Nasrat in charge of planning and engineering of the public work office in Helmand told BNA about the possibility of less budget and the ability to reconstruct 3 bridges, 116 culverts, and many roads during the past 9 months.

He told the shortage less budget is the real reason for the incomplete of many projects, but he promise that he will attract local and international donor agencies.
Helmand residents expressed happiness seeing the construction and reconstruction of projects in that province.
