Kabul (BNA) During a military operation 8 armed Taliban killed in Herat province.
It has been said that in the operation six other armed Taliban injured.
The operation was launched yesterday in different parts of Kashk Rebat Sangi district and continues.
A police chief of Herat province reported BNA, during the operation 8 armed Taliban killed and 6 others were injured.
According to the source, the Afghan forces till now have cleaned large area from the existence of armed Taliban in Kashk Rebat Sangi district.
According to the reports, during the operation a national army soldier was also killed and three others injured.
The reports stated that still hundreds of Afghan security forces including police, national army and national security directorate are searching for armed Taliban and cleansing of the district.
The official says that the Afghan forces during the operation discovered several weapon caches of armed Taliban and seized.
