Islamic Banking System Will Become Common In The country

Kabul (BNA) The Central Bank is intends to enforce Islamic banking law in all the country’s bands, said Norrullhg Delawari Governor of Central Bank.
He added that the bank has taken some measures in this respect and on the basis of that Islamic banking will be promoted in the country.
He asked all banks to act as before till enforcement of this law, adding that the law will be prepared soon and that a committee consisting of informed experts and Ulema are working on the law.
He also informed the media on formation of dry ports saying that we are in formed the media on formation of dry ports saying that we are in contact with a large Arabic company and this agreement is under assessment.
The aim for forming dry ports is creation of facilities for the traders.
He stressed further that this company still undertake to transfer Afghan trade goods from Karachi and Iranian ports in safe manner to Afghanistan and in the dry port all facilities will be provided.
He also declared the central bank’s support to investor’s projects as well.
He informed the media on dismissing of 20% of Kabul Bank loans as work on finalizing the loans of the band is continued and it will be finalized in the coming five years.
