House Discusses Current Security Situation

Kabul (BNA) The House of people with first chairman Hajji Abdul Zahir Qadir on the chair discussed the security situation and the uprising of people against Taliban, yesterday.
While expressing their concern over increasing security incidents in the west and northern parts of the country, the lawmakers called on security entities to ensure peace and security in the country.
Meantime, some of the MPs expressed their support to uprising in some provinces against Taliban militants.
However, the lawmakers cautioned that some circles my exploit the people uprising against Taliban for their own benefit which may eventually create new crisis, calling on government to closely monitor the uprising.
On the other hand, some of the lawmakers expressed concern over the involvement of the intelligence agencies of some countries in the region and calling on government to have close watch over the development.
The House has tasked the commission for national security to take the issue of people uprising against Taliban and deteriorating security situation with those at the helm of security affairs and report the outcome back to the house in next session.
The issue of insiders attack on NATO-led soldiers was also discussed and assigned the administrative board of the house to issues a statement in this connection.
The lawmakers also discussed the problems of Kabul international airport, the selling of Pamir planes to the Arianna Airline Company and poor services of cellular phone companies, calling for improvement in all fields.
