Iran Deports Afghan Migrants with Valid Visas

KABUL (BNA): Some Afghan citizens who have been deported from Iran claim that they had legal residency documents but were still forced to leave the country.

They say they paid 80 euros for a visa that was valid for several months but were expelled before it expired. They asked the Islamic Emirate officials to talk to the Iranian consulate and stop the illegal deportation of Afghan citizens.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Affairs Department in Herat province says that Iran has recently arrested and sent back Afghans who entered Iran with tourist visas to work there.

Rahmatullah Faizan, the deputy director of the department, advises people not to use tourist visas for work purposes in Iran.
