Kabul (BNA) A session was held at MoI for providing better security to convoys on the country’s highways.
In the session held under the chairmanship of Minister of Interior Mohammad Omar Daudzai with participation of the ministry’s deputies, security officials of the country’s highways, maintaining security for convoys on highways and relevant security issues were reviewed and discussed. In the security session, Minister of Interior while pointing out related to importance of security of convoys and need of further coordination in this regard said for implementation of decision of the council of ministers and jointly and effective management of the convoys security, administrative and leading authority of security units would be granted to senior deputy minister of security of MoI.
Related to security of Helmand, Minister of Interior said better security measures had been taken for providing better security condition in Helmand province, adding supplying process of needed arms to police and dispatching aid process to affected families were going on in a better way.
