Eight Development Projects Inaugurate

Kabul (BNA) Eight development projects including construction of a road, a bridge and a school were completed by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Badakhshan province.
A source in Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry said, the projects including, construction of 50 km road, 610 meter retaining wall, a school building and a bridge on Kokcha River which connects ten districts of that province.
The projects have been completed by road construction program and regional development program of the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry at the cost of 216700,000 Afghanis in Tagab, Draiem, Baharak, Kishm, Yftel Paeen, Khwahan and Koof Aab districts of Badakhshan province.
Engineer Wais Ahmad Barmak, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in the inaugural ceremony of these projects said, the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry during the last 10 years managed to inaugurate 2855 projects through their national programs in different sectors, and the work on other 611 projects are continuing and planned 605 projects by the total cost $ 92 million funded by the Ministry of Finance and Donors.  T.
