Kabul (BNA) The leading boards of the ministries for higher education, commerce & industries, some government and private universities as well as social and cultural entities have congratulated president Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai and chief executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in the national unity government over assuming office.
In the congratulatory messages it was stressed that Afghanistan had made tremendous achievements over the past 13 years but the people are still suffering of continued conflict in its negative impacts in the fields of social, economy etc.
The messages stressed for ensuring durable peace, eradication of corruption, checking poppy cultivation and drug production, calling upon the new government to act upon its commitments.
