Khalili Meets New Iranian Ambassador To Kabul

Kabul (BNA) The new Iranian ambassador had a courtesy call on Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president yesterday morning.
At the meeting the Iranian ambassador mentioned common historical, cultural and religious bonds between the two nations in different spheres and emphasized on expansion of these relations.
He expressed the hope that during his mission as Iranian ambassador, he could further expand relations between the two neighboring nations.
He considered restoration of peace in Afghanistan to the interest of all neighboring countries and stressed that Iran’s policy prioritize expansion of ties among the neighboring countries including Afghanistan.
Khalili congratulated Behrami’s assignment as the new Iranian ambassador to Kabul and hoped that he can facilitate further consolidation of ties between the two neighboring Muslim nations.
He added that Iran and Afghanistan possess ample possibilities and capacities for expansion of mutually beneficial relations, and called mutual economic, political and trade ties to the interest of both countries.
