Egypt To Give 150 Scholarships To Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Egypt would give 150 scholarships to the students of Afghanistan during the current year, this was stated by the cultural attach of Egypt embassy here Dr. Talal in a meeting with the minister for Justice Habibullah Ghalib yesterday. 
In the meeting the minister for Justice while lauded the relations with Egypt said many of judges in Afghan courts had graduated from Egypt. 
The minister also in the meeting requested sending Egyptian experts to the ministry for justice besides calling for giving scholarships to the members of the legislation directorate. 
For his part, Dr. Talal described the relations with Afghanistan as deep rooted; adding Egypt would continue to support Afghanistan in education and cultural sectors and would provide education to 90 Afghan officers on the field of counter narcotics every month.  Dr. Talal said the Egypt had provided 75 scholarships to Afghanistan last year and this number will be doubled this year and out for these, 10 scholarships are for MA and PHD degrees.
