Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai in a message has congratulated Mrs. Park Gyon Hai as new president of South Korea.
The message notes that I am pleased to represent the people of Afghanistan convey my sincerest felicitations on your election as the president of South Korea and undoubtedly your election to this high position indicates the trust of your people upon you.
I am pleased that existing friendly relations between Afghanistan and South Korea is getting further consolidated with the passage of time.
The South Korean republic has provided considerable assistance towards reconstruction of Afghanistan.
The people of Afghanistan while appreciating this assistance are for further expansion of cooperation in all spheres.
