Former Military Generals Can Participate In Maintaining Security, First VP

Kabul (BNA) Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum, First Vice President met Tuesday with deputy minister of interior on security affairs Gen. Mohammad Ayoub Salangi, detection chief for ANBP Maj. Gen. Shir Ali and one of the country’s army generals Gen. Mohammad Daud Azizi and discussed security condition of the country.
In the meeting, first vice president while praising Afghanistan national security forces for their bravery towards defending the people and maintaining security in the country called the security forces struggling for protection of the country’s national integrity as real sons of the country.
First vice president asserted that the country’s security personnel in particular high-level officers can share their experiences in implementation of various programs of the country’s security organs.
Dostum asked all former army generals to share their experiences and knowledge with MoD, MoI and NDS related to maintaining security, defending and tightening stability in Afghanistan and participate in maintaining security and peace of their homeland.
In the meeting, deputy minister of interior on security affairs Gen. Mohammad Ayoub Salangi and detection chief for ANBP Maj. Gen. Shir Ali assured of preparation of the country’s security forces for defending the country and people, counter terrorism and maintaining peace in Afghanistan.
