Kabul (BNA) The minister for higher education Dr. Obaidullah Obaid inaugurated the decorated park in the compound of the ministry yesterday.
In the opening remarks, the minister said since the beginning of this year three parks in the ministry and two universities in Kabul city have been constructed and two more parks will be inaugurated in near future.
He also said that having parks, greenery and green environment is essential for healthy society and useful for both the teachers and students.
According to Munir Ahmad Mehrwar the director for planning and policy of the ministry for higher education, this park was build at a cost of one million Afghanis funded by the ministry for higher education.
