Kabul (BNA) Meshrano Jirga in a message by offering deep sympathy and solidarity to the country’s disabled extended felicitation on 3rd December, World Disabled Day.
In the message, Senate considered the country’s disabled as heroes and home-loving fighters who have gifted parts of their bodies towards defending their religion, homeland and national dignities, considering also their presence in the society as honor and sign of bravery of the Muslim people in Afghanistan.
Senate believed that religious people of the country under instructions of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and cultural values of the country had accepted this honorable part of the country and treated them with full affection, adding that the people would spare no efforts in addressing their financial and spiritual needs, the message said.
In the message, Senate asked the government to pay full consideration to addressing livelihood problems, providing health services and employment and facilities of their participation in political and social processes.
