End of clashes between Afghanistan and Pakistani border forces  

KABUL (BNA) Clashes between Islamic Emirate and Pakistani border forces are ended.

According to reports, the clash started yesterday and lasted for hours.

witnesses of the incident say the clash took place after an Afghan child was beaten by Pakistani border guards.

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, confirmed the clashes in a tweet.

He said Pakistani border guards were the initiators of the clashes.

Mujahid said that investigations had begun into the cause of the clashes.

Many of residents in Speen Buldak’s Kandahar, where they have witnessed clashes between Pakistani and Islamic Emirate forces, say Pakistani border guards used light and heavy weapons during the fighting.

However, doctors at Kandahar Central Hospital say two people have been killed and 30 wounded in the fighting.

The Medics described the health of the three wounded in the clashes as worrying.

Pakistani military officials have not yet responded to the clashes.

Our local correspondent in Kandahar reports that the clashes ended this morning and the situation in Speen Buldak has turned to normal.
