End of 25-Year Dispute in Parwan

PARWAN (BNA) In the mediation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan officials of a long-year dispute between two tribes in Parwan ended, said local officials in the province.

A governor district of Parwan said to Bakhtar News Agency that in Hamzakhel village two families who were engaged in a conflict for 25 years ended their disputes with the mediation of the Islamic Emirate officials and elders of the village.

The police chief of Seyedkhel district of Parwan Mawlawi Abdulhaq Haqparast said the Islamic Emirate strives to promote sympathy among Afghan society, as Islam values peace and reconciliation.

The residents in Hamzakhel village say the conflict had spread not only between two families, but to the whole village, and the close relatives had started more hostilities with each other during the long 25 years of their conflict.
