Kabul (BNA) The new Minister of Defense and the member of High Supreme Court Council sworn-in in front of the President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah here the other day, a presidential statement said. In the separate ceremonies, Lt. General Abdullah Khan Habibi the new Minister of Defense and Mohammad Sangar Zamani the new member of the High Supreme Court Council who received the vote of confidence recently and were approved by the lower house of Parliament, performed the oath taking ceremony. They swore that they would perform their duties in the light of constitution and Islamic teachings and would spare no effort to serve their nation and safeguard the people’s rights as well as would consider the Almighty Allah in all their activities. After the oath-taking ceremony, the president congratulated them their new responsibilities and wished them best of luck in serving their nation.
