Kabul (BNA) Noorulhaq Uloomi, Minister of Interior in a meeting yesterday with Chinese ambassador to Kabul praised China for its cooperation with Afghanistan National Police (ANP).
In the meeting, minister of interior while considering China as old friend of the people of Afghanistan praised the country for its cooperation with MoI in various sectors in the past 13 years.
Pointing to increasing of ANP capabilities, minister of interior asserted China has played considerable role in professionalism and increasing of the ANP capabilities and actively participated in training and equipping of the police forces. Minister of interior added that terrorism and extremism were security threat for all regional countries and it was necessary that the regional countries should have serious cooperation with Afghan security forces in fighting terrorism. Meanwhile, the Chinese ambassador to Kabul by expressing happiness over developments in training and equipping ANP assured of Chinese cooperation with MoI in various sectors particularly in education, funding and equipping ANP.
