Mohammad Sediq Pesarli’s First Death Anniversary Observed

Kabul (BNA) The first death anniversary of the country’s top writer and poet Mohammad Sediq Pesarli was celebrated yesterday in Kabul.
In a ceremony held on this occasion with cooperation of ministry of information and culture, Afghan Baheer literal and cultural organization, Mirman Cultural Society, Musawir Foundation, Kleed Group and Goethe Institute, first, the message of Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan was read out by Alam Gul Sahar. In the message, President Ghani hoped the session would be a good opportunity for sharing memorandums and writings of the country’s great writer and poet. Meanwhile, the message of Afghanistan former president Hamid Karzai was read out by Muhibullah Zgham.
Afterwards, the acting minister of information and culture Nabi Farahi spoke related to various dimensions of the country’s academic and literal personality of Mohammad Sediq Pesarli and said research and scientific conferences and seminars should held for identification of the deceased Pasarli’s personality. Farahi asked the country’s ulema, men of knowledge, researchers and youth to overall research related to introduction of Ustad Pesarli’s unknown cultural and literal life.
According to Farahi, the deceased Pesarli had not been only a poet and writer but he had thought for development of the country and considered youth as key and effective force. Sulaiman Layeq was another speaker asking the government officials for granting title of national poet of the country to Sediq Pesarli. At the end, the deceased Pesarli’s son and cultural advisor to President Asadullah Ghazanfar spoke and asked the country’s youth to make efforts for improvement and enrichment of the country’s culture and literature.
