NANGARHAR (BNA) Acting National Defense Minister Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid visited Durand an Afghan-Pak borderline, on Friday said a statement by the Ministry of Defense.
On his trip to Nangahar, Defense Minister Mujahid visited the 201st Khalid bin Waleed Corps brigade in Achin, one of the province’s districts, added the statement.
In a meeting, the security forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan stationed in Nangarhar while praising the defense minister shared relevant issues with officials of the Ministry. added the Ministry in his statement.
During the meeting, the Acting National Defense Minister asked the soldiers not to hesitate any cooperation in order to serve the people and to stay strong in defending the country’s territory.
Lately, the Acting Defense Minister visited Panjshir and a number of other provinces of the country to assess the security situation countrywide.
