Kabul (BNA) At least 12 armed rebels were killed during the fresh clashes with Afghan security forces in Shindand district of Herat province.
A commander of national army of Herat told BNA, at least 12 armed insurgent have been killed in the recent battles with Afghan security forces including two commanders and two others were wounded.
Afghan security force says, the military operation is continuing on Taliban’s hideouts for ensuring peace in the region.
According to another report, during three separate clashes in Herat province 3 Taliban were killed and 6 others were wounded.
