KABUL (BNA): CDC China, a Chinese corporation, has expressed interest in extracting copper, lead, and zinc in Afghanistan.

The company’s president, who recently visited Kabul, met with Sheikh Shahabuddin Dlawar, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, to discuss potential mining activities.
Both parties exchanged views on investment opportunities in Afghanistan’s mineral resources during the meeting.

The president of CDC China highlighted that Afghanistan offers excellent opportunities for investors, which they aim to leverage for mutual benefit.
