Jalalabad (BNA) National security officials say they rescued a child from kidnappers in Nangarhar.
Tamim was abducted twelve days ago from Kabul and in an operation conducted by national security forces rescued him from a hideout in the central city of Jalalabad, Nangarhar.
Ataullah Khogyani, spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA that efforts were underway to identify and arrest the perpetrators of the abduction.
The kidnappers demanded large sums of money from his family in exchange for the child’s release.
Tamim’s family thanked national security officials for rescuing their son.
