Aibak (BNA) Qari Fasihuddin Fitrat, the Chief of Army, who has traveled to Samangan to visit security units, met with the Governor of Samangan, Abdul Rahman Kundazi, today.
Khairkhah Samangani, head of bureau and press officer of Samangan, told BNA that during the meeting, Qari Fasihuddin Fitrat, the acting chief of army, and Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Kundazi, the governor of Samangan, discussed security issues and drafted regular defense plans.
In the meeting, the Chief of army stated that the purpose of his trip was to visit military and security units in the north of the country and to discuss the achievements and sacrifices of the Islamic Emirate forces In Samangan, he praised efforts of the forces serving the country and people and guided the officials of the defense units to work harder to provide better security for the people.
Governor of Samangan, receiving the plans of the Ministry of National Defense, he added that after the victory and rule of the Islamic system, Samangan is one of the safest provinces in the north.
