Kabul (BNA) In his meeting with the UN Secretary General Special Envoy for Afghanistan Jan Kubish, Marshal Mohammad Qaseem Fahim expressed preparedness over the support and cooperation of the government of Afghanistan for free and transparent election in the spring of 1393.
He added that Afghanistan is hopeful that the future government that will come after the elections in Afghanistan led by the elected president of Afghanistan will work towards preservation of the past ten years achievements.
Jan Kubish said in respect the world community’s commitments towards Afghanistan that the UN shall continue its efforts for getting access to peace and the progress of the people of Afghanistan.
He added that we shall continue our consultations for holding of future elections in Afghanistan and preparing the ground for better participation of groups, segments, civil society, political parties and we expect that the government of Afghanistan will also strive on this direction.
He assured of the UN continued cooperation with the people of Afghanistan after 2014 as well.
