Lashkargah (BNA) An attack on a military base in Helmand was prevented by discovering and destruction of a car bomb.
At around 10:00 a.m. today, a car bomb was reportedly supposed to explode in front of a base in Nawa district, but failed to reach its target, was identified and destroyed by security forces.
Maiwand Corps in southwest of the country said in a news release that the Taliban have tried to target a military base with a car bomb, but not succeeded to their evil goals.
No one has been arrested in connection with this car bombing.
