Kabul (BNA) based on instruction of Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, a session was held yesterday at presidential palace for further clearance and investigation of raping case carried out recently on a small girl named Breshna in Kunduz province.
In the session attended by Breshna, her family, representatives of MoFA, MoWA and an official of amnesty international to Afghanistan, legal advisor to President Abdul Ali Mohammadi talked to father and uncle of the girl and asked for clarification related to reports saying that the small girl was under threat of her family. Father and uncle of the girl considered the report as baseless, stressing that their child was a victim of this act and they were trying to protect her from the beginning. They considered the rumors as act of opportunists who wanted to make use of the case for their personal interest. The victim family also asked for serious punishments to perpetrator of this act, saying they would assure of safety of Breshna and protect her from opportunists.
